About Nate

Hi, I’m Nate Gammons — founder of Learn Your PC and the person behind Nate’s I.T. & Computer Services.

For more than 20 years, I’ve been helping people understand, fix, and confidently use their computers — whether it’s a Windows PC or a Mac. My goal is simple: to make technology understandable, approachable, and useful for everyone. I was born in California, moved to Missouri in as a child, and lived on the east coast in my Military years and not back in Missouri and traveling around as much as I can.

Who I Am

I’m a one-man tech expert well try to be — and that’s a good thing for you.

I’ve spent decades building, repairing, and maintaining computer systems and networks for homes and businesses throughout the Kansas City area. I’m CompTIA A+ and Network+ certified, and I’ve held certifications from major manufacturers including Dell, HP/Compaq, and Toshiba. I support all major brands of PCs and Apple computers.

But I’m more than just a technician — I’m also a patient teacher well try to be LOL.

I’ve built Learn Your PC for one reason: to help people who feel overwhelmed by technology discover that computers don’t have to be scary. With clear, step-by-step guidance and no confusing jargon, I’ll help you understand your device, feel confident using it, and solve problems without frustration.

How I Work

Unlike big tech companies with crowded help desks, I provide real, personal support:

  • One-on-one training tailored to your pace
  • Easy explanations that match your skill level
  • Real solutions to real problems
  • Help with Windows, Macs, phones, tablets, email, security, and more

You’re not just getting technical answers — you’re gaining confidence and understanding.

What Sets Me Apart

Technology shouldn’t make you feel lost or intimidated — and it shouldn’t require a manual written in confusing language.

At Learn Your PC:

✔ You’ll get real teaching, not just quick fixes
✔ Everything is explained in plain English
✔ You’ll learn both how and why things work
✔ Support is patient, friendly, and respectful

And you’ll always be able to ask questions — no matter how basic you think they are.

Beyond the Keyboard

I’m not just passionate about computers — I’m also active in my community and bring a wide range of experiences to my work.

Beyond IT, I’ve pursued interests in areas like public safety diving, Silversmithing, Bushcrafting and hands-on craftsmanship — showing that problem solving and teaching others have always been core to who I am. Also driving my awesome 1978 Volkswagen Bus, yea I love the darn thing. Im a high tech person with low tech habits.

Let’s Learn Together

Whether you’ve never touched a computer before or you’re ready to take your skills to the next level, Learn Your PC is here to help.

You don’t have to be a “tech person.”
You just need the right support — and that’s what I’m here for.
