🌙 What Is Night Light?

Night Light reduces blue light from your screen.

It makes your display:

  • Warmer (slightly yellow)
  • Softer on the eyes
  • More comfortable at night

This can help reduce eye strain and improve sleep.

Click the Start button.

Step 2

Click Settings.

Step 3

Click System.

Step 4

Click Display.

Step 5

Find Night light.

Click the switch to turn it On.

Your screen will immediately look warmer.

🟦 Adjusting Night Light Strength

If the screen looks too yellow or not warm enough:

  1. Click Night light (the words, not the switch).
  2. Use the Strength slider.
    • Move left for lighter warmth.
    • Move right for stronger warmth.

Adjust until it feels comfortable.

🟦 Scheduling Night Light Automatically

You can set it to turn on every evening.

Step 1

In the Night Light settings,
Turn on Schedule night light.

Step 2

Choose one option:

  • Sunset to sunrise (automatic)
  • Set custom hours (example: 8 PM to 7 AM)

This way, it works automatically.

⚠ Important Note

Night Light only changes the color tone.

It does NOT affect:

  • Your files
  • Your programs
  • Your photos

It only changes how the screen looks.
